Tony Elumelu Foundation Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) 2024 for Course

The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) and the German development agency GIZ (E4D program) run the “Women Entrepreneurship for Africa” (WE4A) program, which is jointly supported by the European Union (EU), the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Its main objective is to provide women, young people, and the unorganized sector in Sub-Saharan Africa more control in underprivileged communities.

The Swiss Association for Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets, or SAFEEM, will provide support for the Acceleration/Growth Program’s implementation.

To offer a more individualized approach to the program, the 100 TEF Alumna who are the beneficiaries of this relationship were divided into eight clusters according to their growth stage and industry.

Everything is overseen by an Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) who offers support and mentorship although the programme. listed below

Eligibility Criteria

  • TEF Alumni network Female entrepreneurs
  • must have a track record business product and ideally customers audience

 

Offered Benefits

  • given Up to €50,000 total grant funding for 15 enterprises with high growth potential.
  • €10,000 in grant funding for 120 womens entrepreneurs from the TEF alumni network.
  • 3 Months of technical trainning support through a virtual acceleration program.
